Belto
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Belto (“Belto”, “we”, “us”), published by Techtactoe App Studio, collects, uses and protects information when you use the Belto app on iOS and Android. Belto turns a photo you choose into a short AI-generated singing or talking video.
1. Summary
- You don’t need to give us your name, email address or contacts to use Belto.
- Your photos and voice recordings are used only to make the video you ask for, are deleted from our servers within 24 hours, and are never used to train AI models, for advertising or for face recognition.
- Finished videos stay in your library until you delete them or your account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
- Account identifier. When you open Belto, an anonymous account ID is created (Firebase Authentication). If you later choose Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, only if you choose to share it, your email address.
- Content you provide. Photos you pick or take, voice recordings you make, lyrics or names you type, and the videos created from them.
- Purchases and credits. Your subscription status, purchase history and credit balance. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
- Usage and device data. App events (for example, which screens are opened and whether a video was created), device model, operating system version, app version, language and approximate country, used to operate and improve the app.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports and performance data.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, a push token so we can tell you when a video is ready and send reminders you set.
Belto does not use your photos to identify you, does not create a biometric template of your face, and does not collect your precise location, contacts or advertising identifier.
3. How we use information
- To create the videos, posters, songs and voices you request (performance of our contract with you).
- To manage your subscription and credits, including refunds of credits for failed creations.
- To keep Belto secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Use (legitimate interests).
- To understand usage, fix crashes and improve features (legitimate interests; you can opt out of analytics where your device settings allow).
- To send notifications you have enabled (consent, which you can withdraw in Settings).
4. AI processing of photos and voices
Before your first creation, Belto asks for your consent to send the photo and any audio you choose to our AI processing provider, fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.), which runs the models that create your video. Content is sent only for that purpose and is not used by us or by our provider to train AI models. Source photos and voice clips are deleted from our servers within 24 hours. Every video is labeled as AI-generated, and free videos carry a visible “Made with Belto · AI” mark.
Only upload photos and recordings you own or have permission to use. Do not upload images of public figures or of anyone who has not agreed.
5. Service providers
We share information only with providers that process it on our behalf and under contract:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, remote configuration, app integrity checks and push notifications.
- fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.): AI generation of videos, images, songs and voices.
- Mureka (through fal.ai): AI singing of personal songs — receives only the name you enter for the song and its lyrics.
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.): subscription and purchase management.
- Apple and Google: payments, app distribution and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep information
- Source photos and voice clips: up to 24 hours.
- Finished videos: until you delete them or your account.
- Usage and crash data: up to 14 months.
- Purchase records: as long as required by tax and accounting law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can delete any video in the app, turn notifications off, and delete your whole account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your videos, credits and account data from our servers. Active subscriptions must be canceled separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Turkey’s KVKK, Brazil’s LGPD or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Belto is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it. Photos of minors may only be used with the consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls that let each account read only its own data, app integrity checks and server-side processing of all AI requests. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
